We must see ourselves as God does

We must see ourselves as God does. We cannot forget our true identity. He created us with a beautiful and triumphant purpose:
You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you.
–Psalm 139:1-18

What we think of ourselves is what we will be:
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
Proverbs 23:7

Change your Perspective

We need to have a change in perspective. Rather than focus on the problems, we should focus on how to solve them. Receive problems as opportunities for growth (Romans 8:28). Let’s think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, and lovely (Philippians 4:8).

Pride and Freedom

If we justify our wrongdoings with excuses and do not accept it nor are accountable, we need to surrender our pride and remove our spiritual bandages from our eyes. Only this way we will begin to have the freedom that we so desire.

Freedom in Christmas

How can we be truly free these Christmas?
Christmas is simply to remember how great is God’s love that He decided to send His Son Jesus to this world to, not only be born in a humble manger over two thousand years ago, but to continue to be born every day in the hearts of those who decide to make Him their Lord and Savior (John 3:16). Just as we give presents to people during their birthdays, God wants us to give Him everything that is an obstacle in our relationship with Him. If we give Him our lives and walk with Him in an intimate relationship, we will be able to understand the true meaning of Christmas and His love, joy, and peace will reign in our hearts forever because His truth will set us free.
Merry Christmas!

Be Content

Be content in everything regardless of your circumstances (Phil 4:11).
